Description:
Elvis greets guests, but the real star at this Hampden institution is homey comfort food. The specialty is "Much Better than Mom's" meatloaf with mashed potatoes. At dinner, you'll find spaghetti, pork chops, and roast beef. The lunch menu includes chicken salad, grilled cheese, burgers, and blue-plate specials. Come for breakfast and get killer coffee and "Hon Buns," cinnamon rolls as big as your hand. The menu always lists something any kid will eat.

Cafe Hon in Hampden has that super atmosphere and great food. I would recommend both the manhattan and new england crab soups - Outstanding. Salads are very fresh too.
