NileGuide Expert tip:
Go in for happy hour Monday Margaritas while you're in town.
Description:
- In a lot of ways the northwest Baltimore neighborhood of Hampden is like a blue-collar Greenwich Village. There's a decidedly bohemian tint to the place, and it has the art galleries to prove it, but the area also has a down-home side. This tiny establishment (there are 12 tables because 13 wouldn't fit) is a great example. The Burritos, Chiles Rellenos, Tacos and Quesadillas served here show Mexican cooking at its simplest and best. The ingredients are fresh, the prices are low and the portions are mammoth.
