John Steven Ltd - Baltimore

  • Description:

    • This dimly-lit tavern offers an innovative menu that includes steamed shrimp and sushi. Eat in the casual dining room or charming outdoor courtyard. College students flock here for the beer, while tourists and local yuppies enjoy the reasonably priced food. Choose the succulent Steamed Shrimp, Cajun Crawfish Pie or a low-calorie safari burger, which is made with ostrich meat. The full-service bar has some 20 beers on tap, including several local brews. Cigar smoking is prohibited, although cigarette smoking is allowed.

      Embarrasing food.

    • It use to be a nice place, but the last time I visit it the mussles were poorly cooked and not 100% fresh. Service and setting became mediocre.

      Great food

    • Quaint dining room, great crabcakes, salmon, rockfish, and scallops... Absentminded service even with only 2 tables in the house occupied. Service required constant direction and summoning....
