Patisserie Poupon has both a Baltimore storefront and a D.C. storefront where they offer classic French pastries. The Baltimore location is close to Harbor East by the metro for easy accessibility. Their macaroons, which come in six different flavors, are a popular draw as is the Fraisier cake. They also offer a cafe menu and a list of party trays from the traditional cheese tray to charcuterie trays. Prices are a little higher than you'll find at some of the other smaller bakeries around town but worth an occasional splurge. And for coffee lovers, Illy coffee is served in all of their espresso hot drinks.
