- The Retriever Activities Center, popularly known as the RAC Arena at the University Of Maryland was once known as the 'UMBC Fieldhouse'. This arena is a popular hub at the campus for hosting sports-related activities the year round. Playing host to numerous sporting matches and competitions, this space is also used for various concerts, convocation ceremonies and many other events. On volleyball and basketball matches, the place comes alive with the cheers of enthusiastic fans. With a capacity of 4,000 and more, RAC Arena makes a good venue for large-scale events.
