    Description:

    George Herman "Babe" Ruth was born in this row house, where two rooms have been re-created to look as they would have when the Sultan of Swat was a boy. Other exhibits include a wall enumerating his home runs, plus memorabilia from his major league career and his days at St. Mary's Industrial School in Baltimore, where he learned to play the game.

    Two floors of the historic 1856 Camden Station have been lovingly developed as a tribute to local sports. The Orioles have their own Hall of Fame here, as do the Baltimore Colts, with special attention given to star quarterback Johnny Unitas. The Ravens, the Blast soccer team, and the Negro Leagues, particularly the Baltimore Elite Giants, also have their own exhibits. But where else can you find high-school and college sports teams represented, along with a history of stadiums in Baltimore? Bring your camera if you bring your kids: The locker room has uniforms to try on, and you're going to want a photo in that way-too-big Ravens jersey. The museum is at the baseball stadium, just 3 blocks west of the Babe Ruth Museum.

    Pimlico is one of the country's most premier horse racing venues. They have a total seating capacity of 13,786. With standing room and infield taken into account, they can accommodate approximately 98,983. Up to 800 horses can be stabled at the course at one time.
