Not quite cheap enough to be considered inexpensive, Bumper's is still a great bargain. It's simple, clean, and friendly, while a bit of a '70s vibe still lingers. Most of the rooms have two double beds; some have only one queen-size bed. Balconies look out over a quiet courtyard or a thick forest, one block from the action on Banff Avenue. Next door is their family-friendly restaurant, also named Bumper's, where the slogan is, "If you haven't been to Bumper's, you haven't been to Banff." For those looking for a simple place to rest their head after a day exploring the mountains, and for those on a budget, Bumper's is a fine choice.

We live only 1 hour away from Banff and we go often to get away from the city. Instead of staying in a nasty hostel and I have heard they can get nasty this place is clean and quiet....
