Hiking along the Bow River is one of the greatest things to do in Banff. It can take you all the way to Bow Falls and the Banff Springs Hotel, or the other way to Cave and Basin. These trails are right outside your door at Riverside Bed & Breakfast. Of course, trails around the river branch off into all sorts of interesting pathways, so you'll never get bored of exploring. Riverside is definitely a great home base from which you can discover Banff on foot. The Luxton, Whyte, and Banff Park Museums are very close by, as well as Canada Place. In winter, the local skating rink is just across the street. But, that's not all. Riverside prides itself on a warm welcome, quality food, and affordability. It should also be mentioned that it's only a short, one-block walk to downtown and Banff Ave., too. The charm of this heritage home can't be underestimated. It provides spacious rooms with quality, pine furniture, as well as a private bathroom. TVs are found in the rooms, too.
