Athena Pizza and Spaghetti House

• Athena's is an old Banff favorite that for decades has been serving up top-notch pizza to hungry skiers on their way home to Calgary, tourist families, and locals. It's the constant local patronage that should tip you off to the fact that this is the best pizza in Banff. The dining room is tight and crowded, and -- given the kid presence (there are kid portions here) -- often very, very loud. Take-out is a better choice than eat-in, if you have the option, and if you're staying in town Athena's will deliver for free. Aside from pizza with a vast array of toppings, there's also pasta and fish and chips.
