• The Wild Flour is a hearty organic bakery on the burgeoning culinary strip of Bear Street (right next to where the Bison is located); you'll find great treats and snacks here (fantastic brownies and cinnamon buns) as well as artisan breads. The granola bars are handy to have in pocket for a day of hiking. The cafe serves up local Kicking Horse espresso, and they also do more meal-sized fare; a breakfast sandwich of herbed egg frittata and old cheddar is a great day-starter; grilled panini like Vabella ham and gruyere with hazelnut pesto is a great lunch, especially in combo with a soup, coffee, and cookie of your choice.
