Our "Steak Story" starts with a well-trimmed centre cut, specially aged for extra tenderness. The well-marbled steak, seasoned with our unique blend of spices is seared to perfection over high heat to lock in the natural juices. At both Banff Kegs, the motto of "Great Steaks and Good Friends" is upheld by superb service and sensational meals.
If you're staying in Banff or Canmore, you'll soon discover that both are filled with young people, many of whom are ski bums who move to the towns for the winter months. So the nightlife in both places is very active, and there are always friendly tourists to meet. The Rose and Crown in Banff is usually brimming with rosy-cheeked people enjoying drinks after a day on the slopes and always a fun place to have a drink, meal or late night fun.

The Rose and Crown Irish pub is a great way to get the 'craic' started. Take a seat in front of the fireplace on cold days, or on the large second-floor patio on sunny ones. There is live music nightly and a games room with pool tables and video games. Like its sister bar in Calgary, the Rose serves up great pub food such as steak sandwiches, shepherd's pie and tasty burgers. But beer is the big draw here, and there is a wide selection of domestic and import brews.
It usually holds true that wherever you go in the world, there'll be a lively Irish pub and Banff is no exception. If you're looking for a popular nightspot, check out the St. James Gate pub, just off Banff Ave. - it's a great place to have dinner, or a few drinks before you head home to bed, or head out to the next club for more fun!
