- Shivaji nagar is a very old market and one of the land marks in bangalore city. It is also the location of one of the main bus terminals in the city from where you can catch a bus to other parts of the city. Shivajinagar is a melancholic mix of crazy crowded cheap shopping with old colonial architecture all squeezed into a few blocks. You also get some great biryani and other meat centered street food, but i would not advice it for all, cause if you dont have a strong stomach you may not be able to handle it. Shivajinagar is also one of the only places in bangalore, as far as i know, that has a church, mosque and temple in close proximity. Despite all the crazy crowd and mad traffic, vshivajinagar is a must see for all, especially at night when it is at its best....
