- Along with the Lido, Scala is an Apex cinema located in Siam Square, right across from the big Siam Paragon shopping complex. Expect to find the occasional blockbuster but also the good indie films and documentaries that the other big cinemas in Bangkok overlook. Though this is not the flashy state-of-the-art cineplex now so popular in Bangkok, it is nevertheless a quality film-going experience.
