- Finding quality beer in Bangkok -- other than the usual Southeast Asian suspects plus Heineken -- can be a challenge. Est. 33 in Crystal Design Center, however, is your best bet for a microbrew. Batches are small and you can watch them being brewed in glass brew tanks on site. Three choices are on tap at any one time and these rotate. The Copper Lager is the most popular, but Est. 33 also offers a wheat beer, pilsener, doppelbock and stout. Food is delicious and includes a variety of German sausages, chicken wings, and the like, as well as Thai snacks. Sit indoors with the brewery at a collection of tables or outdoors on a terrace overlooking a reflecting pool. The brewing is supported by Singha. Right across the terrace is 33 Wine Bar.
Getting here requires a taxi ride if you don't have your own vehicle.
