• Step out of Bangkok's trendy Thonglor and into another world. What is a bit of a blacksmith workshop is also a hip and magical bar at night. A doorman, complete with security earpiece, opens two narrow wooden doors and you step through curtains to be met by a sight for the eyes to take in. A curving metal staircase. Workshop objects scattered about. An antique look to the place and art on the walls. The low stool seats are small as are some of the accompanying surfaces for your drinks or food. Live music entertains after 9 p.m. and might feature a lounge singer who sets up on the spiral staircase to croon the crowd. The hamburgers are pure Australian beef and get high recommends.
