Bangkok is a high-energy sort of place, a sleepless city with something going on all the time. But if you and your sweetheart want to slow things down a bit and get in some romantic couple time, you can head out to one of these bars and clubs. A couple of drinks, maybe some easy jazz, and the rush of the city disappears.
You can head to the heavens at one of the amazing sky bars such as Sirocco, Vertigo or Red Sky, where the stars are right at your fingertips. Or find yourself a comfortable place to sit overlooking the Chao Phraya River -- such as The Deck, a rooftop bar above a romantic restaurant, or Aqua, right down by the waterside. Stay there late in the evening for lighted river traffic or better yet, get there just around sunset. Niu's on Silom and The Diplomat have the cool jazz and wine bar setting, while Gazebo and Face offer something a little different and more casual. But whatever you choose, these are definitely some of the most romantic bars in Bangkok.
