Bangkok is sometimes called the Venice of the East, what with all the canals and such. But for an Asian capital it certainly has a good share of Italian eateries as well. From expensive seafood and meat dishes, to pastas and pizzas, Bangkok has you covered. These are the Top Ten Italian restaurants of Bangkok, and you should have no trouble finding something to suit your budget and taste.
Zanotti is perhaps the most talked about and highly regarded and the best to impress your date, while their spin-off restaurant Limoncello leans more toward the pizza angle in the popular night hangout Sukhumvit Soi 11. For something more southern Italian, check out Fallabella inside the Bangkok Sports Club. La Gritta and Pan Pan are solid, longstanding establishments, having built a reputation over the years. Scoozi is more upscale than the playful name implies. However, for something unusual, see Fuzio: a car showroom turned restaurant with some sweet outside seating.
