And whether you break out the big credit card or jingle the change out of your pocket, you can expect to have a delicious meal. But these are the top ten strictly Thai restaurants in Bangkok. Top of the list is the big-ticket event, nahm. David Thompson gave us the first Michelin-starred Thai restaurant in Europe and has come to Bangkok to work his magic over at this Metropolitan hotel restaurant. Celadon is another high-class Thai experience. But you don't need to break the bank for amazing Thai food. A few great places offer nice interiors for a romantic night out with a little style -- and air-conditioning. Think The Anna Restaurant in this case or Paka Krong which has excellent seafood for reasonable prices. But don't miss the very local places such as Poisien located in a back street near Victory Monument or Thip Samai where you can have some amazing pad thai -- it's all they serve.
