The Best of NileGuide
- Bangkok has a plethora of museums and not the least represented among them are the art collections. Galleries are numerous and easy to find. Several restaurants have popped up in recent years that have taken the gallery concept and combined it with a bar or eatery. A notable example of that is WTF which we include here on this list of Bangkok's Best Art Galleries and Museums. Right downtown and easily reached by Skytrain at National Stadium is the Bangkok Art & Culture Center. Good art should be accessible after all. The National Museum of course has a fine collection that spans cultural history while the Queen's Gallery has an emphasis on the modern. Not everything is Thai; Tang Contemporary and Gallery Soulflower stress Chinese and Indian art, respectively. Looking for something pushing the limits? Check out No Space. But for all things Buddhist, take the time to set up a visit to the Museum of Buddhist Art.
