The Best of NileGuide
- You're probably thinking: Bangkok and children? No way. But rest assured the City of Angels has much to offer your own little angels. The Thai have a youthful spirit and Bangkok captures that in a variety of ways. From outright amusement such as Dream World or Children's Discovery Museum aimed directly at the kids to family-oriented outings such as Siam Ocean World Aquarium or Safari World which will have all ages entertained. Here are the Top 10 kid-friendly things to do in Bangkok. There are a number of museums, but of them all, the ones that have the most buttons to push and interactive exhibits are also two of the newest. Museum of Siam will take you and your child through the history of the Thai people and culture. Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall confines itself to recent history of Bangkok but is even more loaded with lights, screens, levers and buttons. Check out one of the amusement parks if your child wants to run around a bit more. Of all the animal attractions, Safari World or Siam Ocean World are best. But if getting outdoors and seeing them in nature is more important, you're going to like Bang Pu Nature Park along the seashore. Ancient City offers life-size recreations of famous places in Thailand. Or, just take an afternoon in the park at Lumphini. The paddleboats in the lagoon are always a hit.
