This puts the five-star hotel a short distance from most of the best parts of the city and a short walk from the central Siam Station of the BTS Skytrain. Guestrooms total 303 and all come with 42-inch LCD TVs with DVD players and premium-channel cable. Egyptian cotton on the beds, coffee/tea makers, minibars, separate tubs and showers, and a must for Bangkok -- soundproofing. Turndown service is nightly, irons/ironing boards are available on request. Count three outdoor swimming pools and a children's pool on the property giving it that oasis feel in the heat of Bangkok. Wireless internet is included. Round the clock room service covers whatever the four restaurants and lounge do not. You'll also find a fitness center and full spa, a 24-hour business center, meeting rooms for small groups, and other business services. A complimentary shuttle runs to shopping centers and the train station for pick-up service.
