  • Type: Hostels
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

This is just five minutes walking from the Ekkamai BTS Station and also the Ekkamai bus station which generally serves nearby southwest destinations such as Pattaya, Koh Chang and Koh Samet.

  • Description:

    • The Wanderlust hostel is run by savvy travelers and seeks to help travelers go "beyond postcard tourism" in Bangkok. The location is not far from the BTS SkyTrain on Sukhumvit Road and is slightly off the beaten path yet easily accessible. Groceries are close by (Big C) and a kitchen is on-site though nearby street food is abundant and good. The building is basic but safe and well kept with air-conditioned rooms and an onsite mini-bar and small courtyard. The room inventory includes one private room with two twins, one room with two bunks and two more rooms with 12 bunks each. Lockers are provided. WiFi internet is complimentary and so is breakfast. Cable TV and DVDs are on hand as is a book exchange. The managment and staff are very helpful and can arrange airport transfers and luggage storage. Prices are cheap starting around 200 baht and heading up to just under 500. Late night/wee hours arrival exacts a small additional fee. The staff organizes outings which encourages some social life within the hostel.
