Bacco Restaurant & Wine Bar

• Bacco is a large, open restaurant with the feel of an Italian pizzeria or taverna. Decorating the walls are big colorful paintings of clowns and the God Bacchus, and to one side there is a cold counter where you can view the selection of hams, sausages and cheeses that are offered. The menu on large cards is extensive, with a wide range of starters, pastas, pizza, meats and fish, many with an imaginative and individual twist. An army of serving and cooking staff ensure that food is promptly delivered despite the capacity of the restaurant. The wine list is also impressive with several cheaper options, as well as cocktails, beers and soft drinks. It's an excellent restaurant, the only down side being that noise carries–ask to be seated away from other occupied tables. - Alyson Hilbourne
