• Escape the frenzy of Silom and enjoy some Middle Eastern cuisine in "Beirut". The restaurant is light and clean, and much quieter than the street outside. It has a semi-open kitchen at one end, pale brickwork, arched windows and woven rope-style chairs and tables. The menu classics include hummus, shawarma chicken and beef, kebabs, falafel, grilled meats, soups, various salads and Lebanese pastries with spinach, meat or cheese. Drinks include fruit juices, soft drinks, lasi, tea and coffee, and a small selection of beers. Service is fast and efficient, and the food very reasonably priced.
