- Bagel fans are rather particular about the fine art of making bagels. Fortunately for anyone in Bangkok, BKK Bagel Bakery hits the mark. A number of selections are made fresh each day right where you can see them in this easily accessible bakery/cafe on the lower level at Maneeya Plaza. Cream cheeses are also locally produced. In addition to the bagels you can get various drinks including barista-made coffee selections. The fresh deli shouldn't be missed either, offering some great sandwiches, salads and some sweets (sugared cinnamon bagel chips anyone?). Pastrami is made on site as well. Enter from the Renaissance Hotel side of the plaza building. This is below the Chid Lom BTS station walkway heading west from the station proper. Be aware that it's best to get there before closing time as they can sell out on the bagels.
