Description:

• Especially around holidays, this Thai Chinese restaurant is packed to the gills but you are unlikely to see any tourists here. Most famous for its barbecue chicken, Chandrphen also offers a variety of great dim sum and seafood dishes as well as some Thai favorites such as steamed and fried fish and tom yung kung. With the exception of a few open-air tables, the two dining rooms, upstairs and downstairs, are air-conditioned and feature the typical Chinese turning table tops to facilitate sharing meals. Try some house-made coconut ice cream for dessert. Parking is off street with attendants. Combine dinner at Chandrphen with a night at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium opposite.
