• The roof of a Mini car salesroom does not sound like an inspirational setting for a restaurant but Fuzio is one of the most pleasant dining experiences in Bangkok. The outside terrace, called their wine terrace, has large comfortable lounge-style furniture, plenty of greenery, the pleasant sound of tumbling water and fans to keep the air moving even on the hottest evening. Inside, the restaurant is sleek and modern and a glass-fronted exhibition kitchen allows a glimpse of the chefs at work. The menu has appetizers, soups and salads, pasta, premium meats including Wagyu beef and lamb, fish, and a small selection of pizzas. A large wine list and the usual drinks are available. Highly recommended is the Molten Chocolate cake with ice-cream to finish. It is worth booking for a table in the garden. Live music plays Saturdays and Sundays. -AH
