Set in a charming white house just off of Lang Suan Road not far from Lumphini Park, this unusual, modern Indian restaurant is an experience you are not likely to forget. You will still find the delectable masala and other curries as well as fresh traditional nan bread, but then consider some of the unusual dishes prepared in a manner referred to as molecular gastronomy. Using blowtorches, liquid nitrogen and freeze-drying, Chef Gaggan Anand, a native of Kolkata, comes up with dishes that will delight the senses. The rare Umami oyster with coriander foam? Sheep brains? Sous vide salmon with Bengali mustard? The ten dish tasting menu is highly recommended for those who do not know where to start, but a la carte is also available. Reservations are required as this place has really become a hit with Thai and foreigners alike. Find the entrance just across from Soi 3 in Lang Suan Road.
