Quake puts on some good live Classic and 80s Rock in the evenings after a bit of live acoustic music before the crowd shows up. The second floor opens up like a mezzanine over the stage with bar seating around the edge. There is also a pool table here. The first floor offers table seating and a bar along the back wall. Delicious Thai dishes are in the 140-180 baht range and the cocktail list is long. Similar to Saxophone Pub, the atmosphere is relaxed and you needn't be too concerned about what you're wearing. The bar hosts costumed theme nights a couple times per month. For a good Thai dinner, a couple of drinks and some rocking good fun, Quake Restaurant and Bar is ideal. The closest BTS station is either Ratchadamri or Chit Lom which are either a ten-minute walk or a short taxi ride. Brown Sugar is walking distance if you prefer to switch to jazz.
