- This landmark restaurant in Banglampoo is quite an authority on authentic Indian cuisine. The decor here is minimalist and archaic, almost reduced to nothing; a cramped, tiny shack like structure barely making room for a few tables. The fact that the ambiance doesn't deter people from thronging this place is proof enough of its well churned out delicacies. The kebabs (juicy chunks of meat cooked in clay oven) are divine and so are the well-blended and flavorsome gravies. For the vegetarians there is a staple fare of lentils and brilliantly cooked pulses. The Indian bread compliments the main course well and a red wine from the extensive list completes the meal. For a hearty Indian food fiesta, head straight to Royal India.
