Description:

  • Shoshana has gained such a reputation that at least two rivals have opened nearby to serve the overflow. However it is definitely worth a visit, first to see if you can actually get a seat, and second to sample probably Bangkok's best value-for-money Israeli food. The servings are piled high with falafel, hummus, hazilim, salad and chips, and you can stuff the whole lot into a baguette should you wish. Drinks are self-served from the fridge (including big and small bottles of beer). If you want to avoid the crowds, mid-morning and mid-afternoon are the best times to visit.
