- Sidewalks along Sukhumvit Road are less for walking than for shopping. Any ideas that sales of counterfeit goods are cracked down on can be quickly dispelled here as everything from clothing and DVDs to Rolexes and spotting scopes are on offer from Soi 3 (Nana) to Soi 19 at Robinson's Department Store. Bargain heartily. All along this street are restaurants and a few massage parlors and other shops and the sois themselves all hold their own little assortment of hidden hangouts. Soi Arab (Soi Nana, Soi 3) takes its nickname from all the Middle Eastern restaurants and clientele, many of them drawn here from the nearby Bumrungrad International Hospital which does big business with that area of the world. Sukhumvit Soi 11 has a great collection of bars as well.
