- This temple is famous for housing this golden buddha statue which is 3.01metre wide x 3.91metre high. The golden statue display Lord Buddha in seated position with his right leg over his left leg and right hand rest over his right leg while his left hand still rest on his lap. This sitting position is believed to be after he had been in meditation for seven days and nights and finally has won over the Mara(the devil king) and has attained enlightenment.
