Opened to commemorate His Majesty King Rama IX's 60th birthday in 1987, it contains a building dedicated to his work and the most extensive botanical gardens in town. Complementing the delightful park is a large recreational area, a flower garden featuring an eight-meter-high waterfall (Thais are big on falling water!) and a playground for kids.
