Take a Taxi Meter from the ground floor at Suvannabhum. The fare is about 300THB plus 50THB extra charge from the airport (that is the rule, don't argue about it, even if you catch a taxi meter fom one of the upper floors).

it's depend on the traffic at that time also. Normally, it's around not more than 400 THB at most

About 270 to 300 Baht for taxi (more if heavy trafic) plus 50 Baht surcharge for airport, plus 70 Baht for express way (express way charge may go up a little soon).

Hello Dee
The fare should be about 268 Baht plus 50 Baht for airport fare.
General rules are within Bangkok, the meter starts at 35 Baht when you are picked up. The fares are extremely cheap by European standards, with a journey of several kilometres costing between 1 and 2 GBP. In fact, the 25km journey from Suvarnabhumi airport to National Stadium BTS, should only cost about 5 GBP.

make sure its a public taxi always have 400 baht to hand, though in the dead of night you can do the whole trip without using expressways (2 tolls) and pay the 50 baht booking fee and come in at less than 300. dont feel you have to tip, but you may get a reallly nice driver who will help with luggage etc and this is the only time i give a good tip, and yes 20+baht is a good tip, on your average journey small change is sufficient.

it's about 300 baht excluding service charge 50 baht from Airport.

I had forgotten to tell you that you have to pay the toll-way fee in addition to your fare, it's 70THB all the way from the airport to downtown. I suggest you do not force your driver to go non-tollway, except early morning or late night, as you may end up in unwanted traffic jams.
