I have just come back from Bangkok. So i think there is the most interesting places that I've visited in bangkok: Grand Palace & Wat Prakeaw, Floating Market, Chao Phraya River & Waterways... Of course, You should go shopping in Bangkok. It's amazing.
I stayed in Maxx hotel. I think it's ok. Good service, reasonable prices. And it is quite near the cantre. Maybe it takes you 5mins to bigc and robinson super market by taxi.
