i am thinking about taking an office job in silom road, bangrak. is it dangroues for a young single girl to live there? is khaosan better?

I think you should try to understand that
Every big city has potential areas of concern
And some higher risk.
Kaosan road is a back packers paradise and
From that perspective very safe.
But
Very few people who work in bangkok
Would choose to live there.
Siilom is part of the central business district
And as such a more developed area for living
- however part of silom is also one of the
Centers of the red light district of bangkok
So one should concider where on the road to live.
But in general bangkok is probably safer than
Most large cities if you just "think"

Silom area is much better than Khaosan, but the cost of living is also higher.

It's no problem to live there except the high living cost for staying and eating. You can choose near MRT or BTS is better

It's not dangerous at all. Many big Thai and international companies are located in Silom area. The thing you should be aware is just some alleys. But if you don't go nearby, it would be ok.
And for residential issue, there are many proper condominiums around that area. So I don't see any problems living there.
Compared with Khaosan, Silom is better, in my opinion. It's in the heart of the city so it's very convenient to travel around and it's safe.

silom is better than khaosarn. for girl , it depends on the place that you got her. avoid the problem avoid the lady dude.

if u work in silom,better u stay around silom area or Pratunam area.Khaow sarn road is too far from ur office.very bad traffic in rush hour.Pratunam area is ok.
