Good idea. People will pay between 225 to 600 THB per hour depending on the length of study. Usually modules run in length up to 20 hours.
Hopes this helps you.

You would need a Thai partner to open a School and there are rules stating that you need something like 4 Thai employees for each Foreigner employed.
It is a good business to get into but you;ll encounter a lot of red tape, a whole lot!

It's a good idea. But I’m afraid that as a foreigner, you are not able to own any business. It's possible if you have Thai business partners or shareholders. You better check all important from Thailand Department of Foreign Trade (www.dft.go.th). You may need a good lawyer.

language schools all over Thailand and online and many by colleges and universities, look at www.ajarn.com and you will see many advertisements, you will need a degree and a business partner to start a school.

Hi Christian,

There is definately a market for that. In Bangkok there is a lot of competition. There are high end schools charging a lot, having well educated teachers and catering to business people and doing contracts at companies and there are lower level cheaper schools for kid's after school. Good luck.

Heja
Are you "Farang" (= not Thai National)?
Are you already living "here"?
Check first your personal VISA requirements, then consult
for a Work permit and
a Business / Law Consulting Firm ....
If you speak thai - and you are really "good" in ENGLISH
teaching - you might get prices that you suggest/want .... ;-)))

Before starting on your business venture remember to do your market research. STRENGTHS . WEAKNESS . OPPORTUNITIES . THREATS. Once you have identified these you will be in a better position to know if this venture will be profitable and successful.
