The Cole Land Transportation Museum is a great destination for all those fascinated by everything that runs by wheel power. This fascinating museum is dedicated to gathering, preserving and displaying everything from antique cars to exhibiting one of the largest collections of snow removal equipment in America. Within the museum's holdings are 10 classic fire trucks dating as far back as 1910 and over 2,000 photographs of life in early Maine communities. The museum is consistently a big draw for families with children visiting the Bangor area. Please note that the museum is open seasonally from May until November.
