- This revamped theatre is one of the oldest in Barcelona, located within the building of the Academy of Sciences and Arts, founded in 1764. It has been under public and private management at different times, and now offers a varied programme, almost always putting on plays, with a focus on comedies, or musicals. It has hosted a large number of theatrical companies, always putting on high quality shows. Seating 641, it is in the Ramblas, one of the most charming and emblematic areas in central Barcelona.
