Top 10:

Bars and Clubs near Barcelona Airport, Barcelona, Spain

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • Alive by day and even more so by night. Barcelona is home to Gaudi, tapas, sangria and of course a thriving nightlife. There's no opening or closing hours to bars and clubs in Barcelona, as there's something open and ready to serve at any time to keep the party going. Start at a hip local bar in the Born or Gothic quarter and around 2 or 3am make your way to one of the many clubs along Barceloneta beach or higher up in the posher, less touristy Eixample neighborhood. And if you're still kicking at 6am, there's always the after hours. The trick is, knowing which metal door to bang on and what password to utter in order to get inside.

Our number one pick is for those looking to dance to top 40 hits in a trendy, exciting atmosphere in the Eixample. Hyde Club is one of the greatest 'go to' clubs when you can't figure out where to end the night. Always lively and full of young people their music is cheesy but it's a great party, especially after 2am.

If you're looking for something a little more relaxed, our number three pick is perfect. El Paraigua bar and lounge, located directly behind Plaza Sant Jaume features live music in a charming underground cocktail bar. Drinks aren't cheap but their comfy couches and excellent music make up for it.

If you're still going at 3am, check out our number seven pick Marula Cafe. In the heart of the Gotico, off of La Rambla and beside 'plaza tripi', this new club is fast becoming one of Barcelona's most popular late night hang outs. Eclectic dj's and a good dance space, this bar/club is unpretentious and an excellent way to end the evening.
