Barcelona has one of the most exciting and thriving night life scenes in Europe, if not the world. When it comes to fun bars in Barcelona there's one every few paces and something for all 'gustos'. Our number one pick is fairly new to the Barcelona bar and club scene.

Located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, right off of plaza Tripi and around the corner from the renowned 'Macarena' club, Marula Cafe is perfect as both a cool bar and late night club. Featuring famous dj's and a variety of music from funk, to hip hop and electronic, this is an ideal space to have a really fun night out.

Taking the energy down a few notches, not far from Marula is our number six pick, Ginger bar. This wine bar and cocktail lounge is a great 'date' place or just an intimate atmosphere, to kick the night off with a few friends, in a relaxed ambiance. Some have coined Ginger as the 'airport lounge' due to its dim lighting, old school chairs and center piece 'disco ball'. It's drinks and tapas however, are some of the best in the city.
