    Our number one pick, Chic & Basic, is a great boutique hotel in the heart of the Born neighborhood. This hotel also has a chain of apartments if you're looking to stay for long term and they cater to young, hip travelers, looking for something clean and elegant yet not to pricey. This hotel is ideally located in the slightly more 'posh' end of the old city.

    Heading up towards Plaza Catalunya, is Hotel 1898. Our number four pick is a classy, more upscale hotel, right on the infamous walkway, La Rambla. It has a wonderful rooftop pool and patio with amazing city views, perfect for some R&R during the summer.

    Not far from Hotel 1898, is our number six pick, hotel Duques de Bergara. This is a beautifully restored building designed by Emilio Salas and Cortés, (master of Gaudi) and is perfect for conferences, business meetings or just relaxing by the outdoor pool in the courtyard.
