Barcelona is hands down, one of the funnest cities in the world. It's one of the few places where you can be skiing or hiking in the morning and tanning beach side in the afternoon (season permitting). Its eclectic and diverse culture only serves to enhance the variety of options available to have the most fun during your Barcelona stay.
Our number one pick for fun things to do in Barcelona, is this charming little vinoteca on c/Estruc in the Gothic Quarter. Most wine shops don't classify as fun, however Paladar serves as wine shop, art gallery, wine tasting venue and an overall social hub for both locals and visitors. If you're new to the city and looking to connect with interesting people while at the same time feel like whetting your palate with Spanish and international wines, check out Paladar.
Moving on to something slightly more active and outdoors, if you're into nature and particularly mazes, then our number eight pick is a great choice. Parc del Castell de l'Oreneta is slightly off the beaten path, not even visited by many locals who have lived in Barcelona for years. However, it's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, entangled amongst the gorgeous scenery and getting lost in the maze of trees.
Typically Barcelona and definitely a 'must do' is a walking tapas tour. Our number nine pick is the perfect way to get the evening started by bar/restaurant hopping and enjoying Barcelona's delicious tapas in a variety of trendy neighborhoods in the old city.
