Ciutat Vella is one of the most convenient locations to stay in Barcelona, as you can walk almost anywhere or take the readily accessible metro or bus lines to pretty much anywhere in, or outside of the city.

    Our number two pick, is a beautiful hotel, located in the center of all the action. Hotel 1898, known for its rooftop pool and patio, upscale service and classy decor, is an excellent option if you don't mind spending a bit more for top quality and an ideal location.

    If you want to be beach front, then our number five pick is for you. Often frequented by famous actors, musicians and socialites, Hotel Arts is about as chic as it gets. Overlooking Barceloneta beach, this five star hotel is the perfect place if you want to be in the old city, yet slightly away from the center of all the action.
