Dining out in Barcelona is one of the city's most unforgettable experiences. Barcelona's restaurants are trendy, tasty and above all extremely casual. There are few places requiring dress codes, which provides for an all around comfortable, relaxed and intimate experience. Barcelona's Gracia neighborhood is exceptionally well known for being both hip and grunge at the same time and there's some delicious places to eat, if you feel like dining out.
Our number two pick is for sushi lovers. Small and cozy, Kibuka always has a line. They don't take reservations for dinner so it's best to go before 10, especially on weekends. Kibuka serves fresh sushi, sashimi salads and an excellent miso soup. This is ideal for dates or a romantic night out on the town.
Our number four pick is perfect for grabbing a drink or hanging out on the terrace during the summer. Cafe Del Sol is one of Gracia's most popular bars and restaurants. There's not much room inside with wooden tables and benches, but their outdoor patio is ideal at all hours of the day, especially during a hot summer's night before continuing on to c/Verdi to check out some wine bars, or onto to a club.
Head slightly outside of Gracia, if you feel like great seafood in a large restaurant, our number eight pick is for you. Costa Gallega on Paseo de Gracia is perfect for dinner or tapas in a spacious restaurant. Holding around 400 people this isn't the most intimate of atmospheres but it features delicious food at affordable prices and is close to Gracia so you can continue walking upwards after the meal.
