Arguably Barcelona's most romantic thing to do, is a day trip or overnight-er to Cadaques. Just two hours away by car, not only was this beautiful beach side town, home to renowned artist, Salvador Dali, but Cadaques is known for it's breathtaking vistas, crystal blue water and trendy bars, cafés and restaurants. It's the ideal romantic destination where you can stroll along the boardwalk, visit Dali's house and even hike (or drive) up to Cap de Creus and enjoy a meal atop their mountain side restaurant overlooking the entire valley.

Verdi cinemas, is a quaint, old school movie theater featuring both commercial and independent films in small, intimate rooms. It's a charming cinema in the heart of Gracia, so after the movie's over there's no lack of wine bars, tapas joints and restaurants to keep the night going.
