Summer in Barcelona means patios and terraces serving good food and drink until the late hours of the evening. When it comes to restaurants in the city, new places are constantly springing up serving wide varieties of food and drink for all tastes.
Our number four pick is an excellent restaurant patio to get the summer started. El Jardi is perfectly situated in the Abadessa Garden in the Raval. This outdoor restaurant, serves delicious tapas under the sun so you can have lunch and then continue with sangria de cava for the rest of the afternoon.
If you feel like Mexican our number six pick is an excellent summer fiesta style restaurant. La Rosa Negra, on c/Laietana, is centrally located and serves cheap, cocktails and tasty tapas.
Head into the Barceloneta and our number eight pick has some of the best tapas in the city. Segons Mercat, is rustic, local and right next to the beach. Try their beef and cava sangria.
