• The poetry festival takes place in May, in one of the most emblematic buildings in all of Barcelona: the Palau de la Musica Catalana (Catalan Music Hall). About a dozen poets, both Catalan and international, come here to read aloud to what tends to be a totally rapt audience. As you might guess, the setting is breathtaking and the experience is quite moving for poetry-lovers. Make sure you book your tickets well in advance, as there are a fairly limited number available to the general public.
