Ciutat Vella: Barcelona

Probably the most touristy place in Barcelona, the old city or 'ciutat vella, is rich in history, diverse in architecture and full of windy alleyways that are guaranteed to get you lost for hours. Comprised of the Gothic Quarter, the Born, Raval and extending all the way down to the beaches of Barceloneta, the old city forms somewhat of a circle around the famous walkway of Las Ramblas and is one of the most exciting and unique parts of Barcelona.

In the old city you'll stumble across Gaudi's incredible Cathedral, along with a host of many other incredible churches, old buildings and niche restaurants.
